Food and drink will be served in the restaurant during the tournament.
All Major credit cards will be accepted. Please remember reservations are
strongly encouraged for dinner at all seatings. |
| SPECTATOR POLICY: |
All spectators are welcome at Shawnee Country Club. Pairing sheets will
be available in the golf shop. Carts may be available in the golf shop.
Carts may be rented for $20.00, if available. However, all spectator carts
must remain on the cart trail at all times. |
| WEATHER: |
Weather forecasts for the weekend have indicated inclement weather may
occur. Tee time delays of more than 1 hour 30 min during saturday's round
will result in the cancellation of that round. Decisions involving inclement
weather on sunday or monday will be made by the oil valley rules committee. |
USGA Rules will govern all play with the exception of the following local rules:
- Championship Flight will play from the BLACK TEES.
"A" Flight will play from the BLUE TEES.
"B" Flight will play from the BLUE TEES.
"C" Flight will play from the BLUE TEES.
"D" Flight will play from the WHITE TEES.
"E" Flight will play from the WHITE TEES.
All players age 70 and older may play from the WHITE TEES in all flights but
Championship.
- The ball will be played as it lies. NO IMPROVEMENT!!!
- Hazards & OB:
- Lateral water hazards are defined by red lines.
- Ground under repair is defined by white lines.
- Out-of-bounds is defined by White Stakes.
- White stakes between holes 14 & 18 are in effect for #18 only.
- Fourteen (14) club limit will be in effect for Championship Flight only.
- Embedded Ball Rule will be in effect through the green.
- "Ball Drop Circles" will be available on holes #12, #14, #15, and #17 for
a ball hit into the lateral water hazard.
- In case of a tie for 1st Place, a playoff will begin immediately following
play on Hole #14. All other ties will be split.
- In case of rain or inclement weather, if 18 holes have been completed by
all players in a flight, the 18 hole score will be used.
- If there is doubt as to procedure, please play a second ball, and the Golf
Professional will make the final decision.
